Common Myths About Conscious Hypnosis

Does it put you to sleep? Do you lose your will? Is it for everyone? Plain answers to the questions most often asked.

“Does it put you to sleep?” — No. Eyelids may fall but awareness stays open; the client hears their surroundings and can get up and leave at any time.

“Do you lose your will?” — You don't. No suggestion at odds with your values is accepted; hypnosis only works with the client's inner consent.

“Is it for everyone?” — No. Indication matters. Conscious hypnosis acquires its value when an adequately trained physician, dentist or psychologist applies it to the right person for the right purpose.

“Won't I remember?” — In most cases everything is remembered. The aim of the Muezzi Technique is for the client to carry what they remembered into daily life — which is exactly why self-hypnosis is taught.
